MIRACLE BALL stumbled leaving the gate, recovered and quickly went straight to the front, set the pace under pressure then cleared into the turn, remained clear under right-handed urging to the sixteenth pole and held over the late bid from BIG CELEBRATION in the final fifty yards. BIG CELEBRATION brushed with outer rival at the start, pressed the pace from outside, pursued MIRACLE BALL in the two path through the turn, chased determinedly down the lane, dug in to draw alongside the leader late but ran out of ground. BUDS N SUDS lacked early speed, trailed two wide into the turn, angled out to the four path around the bend and ran on for the show. MADEIRA WINE threw her head at the start to come away slow, moved into range up the backstretch, lost ground next to the fence on the turn and weakened in the drive. THERESASILVERLININ brushed leaving the gate, raced up close outside the top pair to the turn, rounded the bend in the three path and also weakened.
