SIP IT sat off the pace, picked up stride two then three wide on the turn, rallied to confront the leader midstretch, drifted in and brushed that rival in the last sixteenth and proved best. OCEAN CLUB (IRE) was closest in pursuit along the rail into the turn, loomed in the two path turning for home, took control with a furlong remaining, fought with SIP IT in the final furlong, got brushed by that rival late and could not hold on. CHARACTER tracked from inside, came under a ride on the turn, cut the corner into the lane, stayed near the fence and gained third. KING ANUNOBY tracked outside a rival, asked left handed at the quarter pole still two wide, chased within range into the final furlong and lacked the needed response. JIMMY'S WINCHESTER sped clear and crossed over, led unchallenged along the rail through the turn, tested by OCEAN CLUB (IRE) in upper stretch, surrendered the lead at the eighth pole and weakened. SUMMER MISCHIEF settled in mid-pack outside a rival, moved out in the lane and failed to rally. SAVVY MOTIVE got crowded and steadied crossing over the dirt then dropped back, saved ground through the turn, angled out at the top of the lane and never threatened. KLAEBO raced inside SUMMER MISCHIEF early in mid-pack, stayed on the fence through the turn and failed to answer the call. ANOTHER WARRIOR lacked early speed, saved ground through the turn, went two wide into the drive and was never a factor. MYSTIC STAY got crowded leaving the gate and lagged behind up the backstretch, remained far back on the inside around the bend and could not get involved.
