PACER broke well and was forwardly placed outside the top pair, launched his bid at the three-eighths pole, took over into the lane, kicked clear upper stretch and stayed strong under urging. BIG REFLECTIONS tracked in the two path, crept closer between runners on the backstretch, followed in the two path around the far turn, cut to the inside entering the lane, rallied to gain second but could not reach the winner. PRINCE OF DEL MAR went up to take control from inside, showed the way under pressure up the backstretch, dueled around the far turn, lost the lead coming into the stretch and flattened to third. IT'S A FACTOR sat off the pace two to three wide, chased in the two path through the far turn and churned on for a minor award. D DAY SKY forwardly placed four deep around the first turn, navigated the far turn three then four wide and weakened in the drive. SUNK COST FALLACY chased three wide near the back early, coaxed between rivals in the middle stages, rounded the far turn two then three wide, angled out in the drive and improved placings. MY MAN JOE ROLDAN settled four wide, continued outside rivals at the back in the middle stages, remained wide through the far turn and failed to menace. BATTLE SCHOOL pressed the pace from outside, dueled around the far turn, fought between turning for home, was no match in upper stretch and weakened in the furlong grounds. AUDIBLE SILENCE took a stalking position on the inside, lost ground around the far turn and faded. SKYQUIST trailed inside early, raced with outer rivals in the middle stages, stayed on the fence through the far turn but could not get involved.
