GRAND SLAM SMILE tracked between rivals in the early going, chased two then three wide on the turn, challenged in upper stretch, put a head in front midstretch, overtaken by MISO PHANSY at the sixteenth pole, then dug in late to come back and edge that rival in the closing moments. MISO PHANSY trailed early and moved inside, picked up stride while angling out around the bend, came four wide into the stretch, rallied in tandem with GRAND SLAM SMILE, put a head in front at the sixteenth pole, battled into the final strides and got nailed on the line. ROSA PARKS tracked the speed from inside, brushed the rail and shifted out into the turn, came back to the inside then traveled two wide into the lane, steered out in upper stretch, chased determinedly while drifted in past the eighth pole, drifted out late and finished a clear third. NO CAP hopped at the start, followed in range outside a pair of rivals, bid outside the leader past quarter pole, seized control in upper stretch, relinquished the lead to GRAND SLAM SMILE midstretch and weakened. LINO'S ANGEL stalked along the rail up the backstretch, got bumped by CHRISTEL CLEAN entering the turn, continued to save ground to the stretch and lacked a rally. CHRISTEL CLEAN stalked the pacesetter outside LINO'S ANGEL bumped that rival going into the turn, continued to give chase in the two path to the stretch and weakened. LIBERATION sprinted clear and crossed over, remained unchallenged to the five-sixteenths pole, roused with a quarter mile left to run and came under threat from NO CAP, surrendered the lead in upper stretch and gave way in the last sixteenth.
