Footnotes
RIDEGOLD vied three deep then cleared inner pair and moved inside, remained unchallenged to the stretch, put to right-handed urging shortly after, led clear into the final sixteenth, confronted by WARM RECEPTION late and managed to hold on. WARM RECEPTION settled off the pace on the inside, moved to a forward position in the middle stages, roused along the fence on the far turn, tipped out in the lane, was closest in pursuit into deep stretch, came with a late bid but could not get by. MPERFECTION broke a step slow, traveled on the rail near the back of the pack, gained ground two wide on the backstretch, tipped three wide into the lane, drifted out at the sixteenth pole and finished well to edge a rival for third. FRENCH MOONLIGHT unhurried in the beginning, moved to the two path, raced within striking distance into the far turn, came under a ride two then three wide and lost the crop at the quarter pole, finished willingly in the lane but got outkicked for the show. SILVER FLIRT hopped a bit to break slow, laid well off the pace in the two path, angled to the inside and drew closer in the middle stages, coaxed along the rail while losing some ground on the second turn, cut the corner into the lane and kept trying to the wire. TURKEY BIRD broke in and was taken back in-hand, traveled along the inside then two wide into the far turn, swung widest into the lane, got bumped at the sixteenth pole and produced a mild rally to improve position. DIALING DESTINY broke out and bumped, chased three then four wide out of range on the clubhouse turn, navigated the far turn three then four wide as well, moved out further in upper stretch, bumped at the sixteenth pole and could not rally. SIEMPRE NAMAN bumped leaving the gate, raced well off the pace on the inside, ridden along through the far turn and was never a factor. PURE CHAOS showed speed between rivals then ceded command approaching the first turn, stalked two then three wide, drew closer keeping off the rail on the backstretch, rounded the far turn three then four wide and weakened in the drive. VRONAWAY vied for the lead inside a pair of rivals then took a stalking position around the first turn, moved off the rail on the backstretch, coaxed along outside a rival on the far turn and tired.
