FEEL THE MAGIC showed the way from inside under pressure, controlled the pace to the far turn, cleared around that bend, kicked away in upper stretch, asked right-handed with a furlong remaining and drew off while being kept busy to the wire. PETESOLDFASHIONED pressed the pace from between rivals outside the leader, lost touch with FEEL THE MAGIC but remained close in the two path to the stretch and held second. AMERICAN EMPIRE broke a step slow, reserved on the inside or two wide on the clubhouse turn, passed a rival on the backstretch, advanced from the rail on the far turn, kept trying down the lane but failed to get up for second. MALA tracked from the two path early, moved inside on the backstretch, angled out and came four wide into the stretch and weakened down the lane. MAJESTIC PALISADES attended the pace three deep, lost ground around the far turn three then four wide and faded in the stretch. I AM AMADEO raced off the pace on the inside then moved to the two path, trailed at the midway point, navigated the far turn three then four wide and came up empty. RING GENERAL was prominent four deep into the first turn, dropped back a bit while moving to the three path around that bend, remained wide up the backstretch, dropped back while angling from the four path to the two path on the far turn and tired.
