MARGOT'S BOY stalked three deep then outside a rival early, spun three wide into the lane, drew alongside PLEASE FOCUS past the eighth pole and drove clear late. PLEASE FOCUS was closest in pursuit in the early going, bid two wide past the quarter pole, put a head in front in upper stretch, challenged by MARGOT'S BOY inside the eighth pole, clung to a narrow lead with a sixteenth remaining, yielded to that rival and held second. ZOFFARELLI (IRE) steadied when crowded early, settled outside a rival, rounded the turn two then three wide, tipped out into the stretch and got up for third. SO I'M TOLD tracked from inside, tipped two wide into the lane, moved out then angled back inside in the lane and got outkicked for third. GOLDEN ALE sprinted to the front from inside, challenged by outer rival past the quarter pole, lost command in upper stretch and weakened in the furlong grounds. MAN CHILD brushed with outer rival crossing the dirt, raced between at the back of the pack, took the turn two wide, moved out in upper stretch and failed to threaten. YOGI BOY stalked the pacesetter from inside, roused around the turn, cut the corner into the lane and weakened. TOO MUCH INFO brushed with MAN CHILD over the dirt, angled to the inside, took an awkward step at the three-eighths pole and could not make an impact. J T'S WATCH was a bit fractious in the gate, traveled inside a pair of rivals at the rear, saved round through the turn, moved off the fence and was never a factor. BOBBY'S ALIBI traveled three deep at the back of the pack, raced outside J T'S WATCH on the turn and was never a factor.
