DOMENICI stalked four then three deep around the first turn, challenged the top pair from outside at the halfway point, seized control from MOONFLIGHT entering the lane, disposed of that rival shortly after and maintained a comfortable lead over MIXIT under a drive to the wire. MIXIT vied between around the first turn, stalked up the backstretch, ridden along two then three wide on the far turn, moved into second with a furlong remaining, chased determinedly through the last sixteenth but had to settle for second best. MOONFLIGHT showed speed three deep on the clubhouse turn, pressed BID from outside early on the backstretch, vied between runners at the half-mile pole, put a head in front at the five-sixteenths marker, dueled inside DOMENICI late on the bend, lost the lead turning for home, failed to keep up in upper stretch and flattened to third. BID took a short lead inside a pair of rivals, held a short lead over MOONFLIGHT early on the backstretch then fought with outer pair at the half-mile pole, relinquished the lead midway around the far turn, stayed on to the quarter pole then retreated. FLIGHT CLUB stalked from inside, followed just out of range on the backstretch, continued next to the fence into the far turn, moved out three wide around the bend and weakened in the drive. CURLIN TORNADO raced near the back in the two path, paused behind a rival at the half-mile pole, saved ground through the far turn, moved out in upper stretch and proved no menace. ARTICULATION settled in the three path, moved forward in the middle stages, chased three then four wide on the far turn, angled out into the lane and weakened. WILL DO ONE dropped off the pace four deep then traveled outside a rival, continued wide in the middle stages, angled out into the stretch and came up empty. WILD WEST END trailed next to the fence early, went outside a rival at the half-mile pole, chased three deep with a quarter mile remaining, steered out into the stretch and never got involved. PSALM stalked in the two path between rivals, coaxed along leaving the backstretch, dropped back on the far turn and tired.
