THE MOE SHOW broke a bit slow, sat off the pace, traveled two wide around the bend, closed in while drifting in past the eighth pole and won going away. SMOKEM WICKED broke a step slow, traveled well off the rail then between rivals at the back, split a pair at the three-eighths pole, came four wide into the stretch, produced a mild rally and got by VERN GOSDIN for second. VERN GOSDIN was fractious in the gate, prompted the pace from outside, came under a ride on the turn, cleared in upper stretch, lost the lead nearing the sixteenth pole and failed to hold on for second. EXPRESS ENTRY ridden along near the back, went four wide into the turn, angled in trailing around the bend, steered back out in upper stretch and showed late effort to pick up a minor award. SWERVEDRIVER broke a step slow, traveled towards the rear early on, saved ground around the bend, split foes at the sixteenth pole and improved position. JOHNNY B chased the top pair outside a rival, took the turn three wide and weakened. DIAMOND TORNADO chased the top pair up the backstretch, followed near the rail or two wide on the turn and weakened down the lane. LUKA'S CHOICE was fractious in the gate, coaxed along from off the pace in the early going, took the turn three wide and failed to menace. PROUD DANIEL was off slow to begin then sent from inside to rush to the front, showed the way under pressure, dueled along the rail on the turn holding a slim advantage, yielded in upper stretch and tired in the final furlong.
