KNOWN IDEA forwardly placed outside a rival, chased in the two path through the turn, was closest in pursuit entering the final furlong, dug in the last sixteenth to draw alongside REGAL PATRIOT and drove past in the final strides. REGAL PATRIOT cleared quickly and crossed over, padded the lead on the turn, remained clear into the final sixteenth, came under threat in deep stretch and could not fend off the winner. JETOVATOR sat off the pace in the early going, angled inward, moved to the two path on the turn, angled out into the stretch, summoned a mild rally and gained third. CODE DUELLO stalked REGAL PATRIOT inside KNOWN IDEA up the backstretch, put into chase mode on the turn, saved ground to the stretch, could not summon the needed rally and lost third. DOUBLE JAB tracked out of range between rivals, traveled in the two path into the turn, took an awkward step nearing the five-sixteenths pole and failed to rally down the lane. YACOWLEF (IRE) dropped back and steered to the inside, saved ground through the turn, tipped out for the stretch run and could not make an impact. ENTERDADRAGON trailed three deep in the early going, chased outside a rival on the turn and failed to menace. SMART CODE tracked from inside out of striking distance, got put in tight past the quarter pole and weakened down the lane. MUBTADAA traveled in mid-pack three deep up the backstretch, continued three wide through the turn and weakened. PHOSPHORESCENCE (FR) suffered an early shuffle, raced between rivals at the back, trailed two wide on the turn, angled out in upper stretch and was never a factor.
