Footnotes
CHISELED IN STONE tracked between then in the two path inside a rival, continued two wide to the stretch, bid four deep at the eighth pole, seized control midstretch and drove clear. SMOKE RIDER stalked two wide, bid outside the leader at the eighth pole, fought three deep between runners into the last sixteenth and got outkicked by the winner. LITTLE KING followed in range from inside, put in a rail bid at the eighth pole, fought with outer trio then flattened late. D'S FOUR THUMBS UP settled off the pace and moved inside, ridden along into the stretch, moved out in the drive and produce a mild rally to round out the superfecta. MRSAINTPATRICK took control early then showed the way under pressure from MORNING GLASS, cleared that rival around the turn, confronted by SMOKE RIDER at the eighth pole and weakened between rivals. HALLAGREY tracked outside a rival, went three wide around the bend and could not rally. TAPIT'S GHOST was off slow to begin, sat off the pace outside a rival, remained two wide to the stretch and never found the needed response. MORNING GLASS prompted the pace on the outside, chased two then three wide past the five-sixteenths pole and weakened down the lane. SOUTHERN BOY broke a few lengths slow, laid well off the pace up the backstretch, took the turn two wide and proved no menace. GO BIG OR GO HOME was off slow to begin, traveled outside a rival at the back, had one beat in the two path around the bend and was never a factor. OMIT was off slow from the inside, trailed inside a rival early, went two wide into the lane, eased to the wire and walked off.
