DIRTY WORDS stalked outside rivals, bid four deep approaching the turn, dueled from outside past the five-sixteenths pole, took over with a quarter mile remaining, surged clear in upper stretch and drew off. TAPALO forwardly placed in the early going, moved inside, steered out at the quarter pole, gained second but could not make any headway on the winner in the late stages. MIDNITE MUSKET broke in and brushed, set the pace early under pressure, vied with outer trio into the turn, dueled with DIRTY WORDS midway around the bend, lost command at the quarter pole, weakened in the drive but was able to save third. KAHUNA MAGIC lacked early speed, trailed then passed a rival into the turn, went two wide then angled to the rail, moved back out in the stretch, showed some late interest and missed third. CHECK'S ON THE WAY brushed by MIDNITE MUSKET at the dispatch, dropped off the pace then trailed on the inside into the turn, saved ground to the stretch, produced a mild rally and passed tired rivals. WIZARD OF WESTWOOD chased off the rail, two to three wide on the turn and weakened. ALPINE THUNDER chased between rivals, took the turn four then five wide and weakened down the lane. ARKADELPHIA pressed the leader from outside then vied between leaving the backstretch, failed to keep up at the five-sixteenths pole and faded in the stretch. JOEY BRACKETS chased from off the rail, bid four deep leaving the backstretch, also failed to keep up midway around the bend, spun four wide into the stretch and tired. YA'LL COME turned his head at the start but still came away with the field, chased widest up the backstretch, navigated the turn five then six wide and came up empty in the lane.
