PALO ALTO BABY fought on even terms with EMBER ROYALE then pressed that rival leaving the backstretch and around the turn, grabbed the lead in upper stretch, put EMBER ROYALE away with a furlong remaining and drew away under urging. TASHIE forwardly placed three deep then went two wide into the turn, asked right handed around the bend, came three wide into the stretch, finished determinedly through the lane and edged rivals for the place honors. FREE CLOSER settled outside rivals, picked up stride four deep on the turn, remained four wide into the lane and got outkicked for second. DAYTONA DIAMOND tracked out of range outside a rival then between runners early, chased in the two path around the bend, angled to the fence in the lane, summoned a mild rally but got outkicked for the place and show. EMBER ROYALE dueled up the backstretch then took a short lead over PALO ALTO BABY, ridden along at the quarter pole, relinquished the lead in upper stretch, failed to kick on with the new leader at the eighth pole and weakened in the late stages. LIHUE PRINCESS raced off the pace in the early going, took the turn three to four wide, asked left handed down the lane and failed to threaten. MANEE stalked between rivals then angled in leaving the backstretch, fell out of range around the bend, cut the corner into the stretch and weakened. BEAUTIFUL DAWN sat off the pace in the beginning, traveled two wide into the turn then found the rail, chased a bit off the rail turning for home and lacked a rally. STAY BOSSY trailed in the early going, angled in for the turn, shifted to the two path to pass a rival, passed another tired runners in the lane but could not make an impact. STRIDENT MISS followed in range up the backstretch, went three deep into the turn, dropped back around the bend and tired. MS GRAINGER DANGER chased from inside, dropped back to last around the turn and had little left for the stretch run.
