RYAN'S GIRL pressed between up the backstretch, chased in the two path around the bend, tipped out to bid three deep at the top of the stretch, seized command at the eighth pole, kicked clear midstretch and remained strong to the wire under a drive. SHOP TILL YOU DROP chased from inside, suffered a mild shuffle behind SOMEDAY LADY early on the turn, tipped three wide into the clear, angled out further at the top of the stretch, finished well through the lane but had to settle for second best. BESSIE COLEMAN was off slow to begin, stalked the leaders from off the rail, went three deep into the turn, challenged the leader from outside past the five-sixteenths pole, led in upper stretch, lost command with a furlong remaining and flattened to third. ELTONSINGSANOTHER vied three up the backstretch, cleared and crossed over with three furlong remaining, confronted by BESSIE COLEMAN at the quarter pole, relinquished the lead at the top of the stretch and weakened. SOMEDAY LADY vied inside a pair of rivals to the turn, failed to keep up with the leader at the three-eighths pole, dropped back to last around the bend, eased in the furlong grounds and walked off.
