Footnotes
COURTSIDE ACTION raced up close three deep, challenged the leader at the seven-sixteenths pole, grabbed the lead nearing the quarter pole, cleared shortly after and held safely over FIONELLO in the late stages. FIONELLO trailed wide in the early going, chased five deep into the turn, went four then three deep around the bend, finished determinedly down the lane but could not get to the winner. MARCOS PERFORMANCE tracked from inside, got shuffled back on the turn, tipped two then three wide around the bend and ran on for third. KING'S RIDE sat off the pace then drew closer four deep, took aim while moving down to the two path around the bend and flattened out in the furlong grounds. VAN GOGH STYLE broke a step slow, tracked off rail then three deep between into the turn, angled to the rail around the bend, steered back out in the stretch and flattened. MAKER AND SONS forwardly placed on the inside, lost ground through the turn, angled out in upper stretch and weakened. BLAME IT ON JACK broke in and bumped rushed up to the front, went two wide into the turn while taking pressure, moved over to the rail, lost command at the quarter pole and gave way. ITALIO took a bump from BLAME IT ON JACK at the start while breaking alertly, raced up close in the two path into the turn, dropped back around the bend, came three wide into the stretch and had little left for the drive.
