GOAL ORIENTED trailed outside a pair of rivals early, gained four wide around the turn, rallied to the front midstretch and inched away from MIDLAN MONEY late. MIDLAND MONEY stalked the top pair from off the rail, challenged MADAKET ROAD from outside with a quarter mile remaining, took over in upper stretch, led over rivals on both sides into the final furlong but could not fend off GOAL ORIENTED in the late stages. SPEEDY WILSON chased from off the pace then moved into range leaving the backstretch, took the turn two then three wide, lacked the needed late kick in the furlong grounds but was able to gain third. MADAKET ROAD bumped leaving the gate, pressed the pace from outside then took control leaving the backstretch, cleared inner rival with three furlongs remaining, confronted by MIDLAND MONEY at the quarter pole, lost command in upper stretch and weakened. SMOOTH CRUISEIN followed in range from well off the rail, asked four then three wide on the turn and weakened in the drive. BERLIN WALL raced between rivals at the back in the early going, went three wide into the turn, angled to the two path then steered back out to enter the lane four wide and had little left for the stretch run. MODUS BESTIA bumped with MADAKET ROAD at the start, showed the way early under pressure from that rival, lost command nearing the turn, dropped back around the bend, eased in the lane and walked off.
