AMBAYA tracked in range from inside, moved out at the top of the lane to launch a bid, challenged between rivals with a furlong remaining, battled into deep stretch and dug in late to edge rivals on both sides. CLIFFS was closest in pursuit from the two path early on, applied pressure to RIBBONS at the half-mile pole, dueled around the far turn, carried a short lead into the final furlong, fought inside a pair of rivals in deep stretch and was outkicked by the winner. WILL THEN stalked from inside, tipped three wide past the quarter pole, bid four deep in upper stretch, fought three deep in the last sixteenth and was outkicked by the top pair. TAKE A BREATH (GB) raced outside a rival in hand towards the rear, angled four wide around the far turn, tipped out further at the top of the stretch, came with a late run and rounded out the superfecta. RESOLVE pulled when reserved two wide then between rivals in the early going, continued in the two path between runners on the far turn, finished willingly down the lane but needed to find more late. TOTALLY JUSTIFIED settled outside a pair of rivals, rounded the far turn three then four wide and finished evenly late. A THOUSAND MILES unhurried from inside in the early going, saved ground to the stretch and improved position. RIBBONS stepped to the front and crossed over, took pressure at the half-mile pole, dueled around the far turn, relinquished the lead and fought to midstretch, then weakened through the last sixteenth. AS CATCH CAN reserved in the early going and steered to the inside, eased out to the three path around the far turn, angled out in deep stretch and failed to menace. SLICK (IRE) hesitated and came away slow, followed in range from the two path, got floated four wide leaving the far turn, asked right handed in the lane, failed to respond, had the crop knocked out of the rider's hand at the sixteenth pole and flattened. ATSILA (IRE) hesitated and spotted the field a couple lengths at the start, raced outside a rival at the back, steered out on the far turn, came four wide into the lane and was never a factor.
