CABO SPIRIT showed speed outside a rival before taking control and moved inside, opened up a comfortable lead, held a diminished lead into the far turn, coaxed along around the bend, showed the way in the two path turning for home, met the bid from ASTRONOMER in upper stretch and held well under right handed urging. ASTRONOMER tracked out of range from inside in the early going, drew closer in the middle stages, gained around the far turn and was guided off the fence, took from the three path entering the lane, bid from outside in upper stretch but could not summon the needed late kick. MONDEGO (GB) reserved and guided to the rail, chased two wide into the lane, angled back inside and rallied next to the fence to edge STAY HOT for the show. STAY HOT raced in mid-pack along the inside, closed in while easing over to the two path on the far turn, put in a mild bid in upper stretch but could not find the needed late punch and got nailed for the show honors. ENDLESSLY unhurried in the beginning and steered to the inside, asked two then three wide on the far turn, showed a mild response down the lane and improved position between runners. FLASHIEST was off a bit slow to begin, trailed outside a rival early, raced outside another runner near the back into the far turn, angled four wide around that bend and improved position. TWIRLING POINT trailed on the inside to the far turn, eased out around the bend, spun three wide into the stretch, angled out in the lane and summoned a mild rally. NINEELEVENTURBO raced near the inside well off the pace early on, continued to save ground around the far turn, stayed on the fence in the lane but failed to find room. SUCHET (FR) bumped with inner rival at the start then got shuffled shortly after, taken to the two path in hand, made progress two then three wide on the far turn, swung wide into the lane and failed to rally. ST ANTHONY laid off the pace in the two path, closed in while angling four wide around the far turn but flattened out in the drive. NESSO'S LASTHARRAH bumped with outer rival in the beginning, showed early speed then was closest in pursuit from the fence, chased two then three wide around the far turn and weakened down the lane.
