LA VILLE LUMIERE rated along the rail, followed behind LATTE LUV to the far turn, had to steady when getting shuffled behind that rival near the quarter pole, cut the corner into the stretch, rallied up the fence and overtook WILD LIKE THE WEST approaching the wire. WILD LIKE THE WEST raced up close keenly in hand outside a rival then three wide around the first turn, bid three deep on the far turn, dueled in the two path turning for home, took over in upper stretch, resisted into the final sixteenth and could not fend off the winner late. PEANUTBUTTERBOMBE was a bit rank leaving the gate, fought the rider in the two path then between rivals on the clubhouse turn, stalked two wide around the second bend, bothered by LATTE LUV drifting out at the quarter pole and into the stretch, finished well between rivals and proved a game third. HYPERGAMY reserved in the two path at the back of the pack, traveled three wide around the far turn, challenged from outside into the lane and could not summon the needed final kick in deep stretch. TOTAL VAL pulled along the inside then shifted into the two path entering the first turn, applied pressure from outside at the midway point, took over at the quarter pole, dueled inside WILD LIKE THE WEST coming to the lane, lost command in upper stretch and folded in the last sixteenth. LATTE LUV established the front quickly and crossed over, took pressure at the half-mile pole, vied with outer rivals on the far turn, drifted out and steadied at the quarter pole, lost touch with the top pair and continued trying to drift leaving the bend, then faded down the lane.
