TESSUTO vied between rivals up the backstretch and around the turn, inched ahead at the top of the lane, cleared midstretch and held off UNCLE CHILLY in the end. UNCLE CHILLY chased from inside, angled out at the quarter pole, closed from outside into deep stretch, took aim at the winner, had the rider lose the crop late and ran out of ground. MR. MACHUPICCHU vied three deep up the backstretch and around the turn, fought into the final furlong, lost touch with the winner midstretch and weakened in the last sixteenth. THIRTY TWO CHUNK raced up close inside the top pair then fought on even terms, battled around the turn and into the lane, then weakened in the final furlong. BALLYHOOLIGAN trailed well off the rail in the early going, angled to the three path entering the turn, quickly moved to the two path, raced a bit off the rail into the lane could not threaten. MAXIMUS settled off the pace, went four then three wide around the bend and could not be a factor. SCATIFY chased the top trio from well off the rail, went four wide through the turn and weakened.
