Footnotes
BEING BETTY stalked the pace on thee outside in the two path, made a bid with three furlongs to run, took the lead just inside the five-sixteenths pole, responded well under a strong hand-ride in upper stretch, came under the crop inside the furlong marker, swapped back to her inside lead inside the sixteenth-pole and held under strong urging. MIDNIGHT CONCERTO went around the first turn in the two path, settled on the outside but with cover, passed the nine-sixteenths under urging, was roused for more while moving from the two path to the four path on the final turn, chased in upper stretch, kept on in pursuit of the winner in the final furlong and willingly earned the place. FIVE G saved ground while rated off the pace, was asked while moving from the rail to the three path on the far turn, chased the leader under a drive while remaining on her inside lead in upper stretch, swapped to the proper lead just before the furlong marker, kept on willingly to the finish and missed the place while narrowly able to get the show. NATIONAL ARCHIVE moved in early, saved ground while reserved off the pace, was roused on the far turn, moved off the rail outside the quarter-pole, came out to the four path into upper stretch then moved further out and gained with late energy to just miss the trifecta. SPINNING COLORS was hustled to the front, showed the way in hand while on the inside, was asked under threat from the winner on the far turn, lost the lead late on that bend, dropped back into the final furlong and weakened. TRAIL OF GOLD was last into stride, saved ground on the first turn, was unhurried at the rear, went around the far turn in the two path under some urging and lacked the needed response.
