BERNIETAKESCHARGE was hustled from the gate, angled in while going to the front, dropped from the two path to the inside early on the first turn, showed the way on the inside of a rival through quick fractions, moved to a solo lead near the nine-sixteenths pole, went around the far turn on the inside, was asked coming to the quarter-pole, came under a right-handed crop in upper stretch, switched to a left-handed crop inside the furlong marker and held under a strong hand-ride late. VALTELLINA rounded the first turn in the two path, settled off the pace, was urged along while inside to the two path on the far turn then gained on the winner, chased that foe under a drive in the stretch and was second best. WALK WITH ME broke in and brushed the gate, settled in a good position while saving ground, dropped back late on the backstretch, saved ground under urging on the far turn, moved out in upper stretch and lacked the needed response while well clear for the show. BOXED WINE bumped with a rival at the start, was taken in hand between horses nearing the first turn, settled at the rear, was urged along in the two then three path on the far turn, came into the stretch in the six path and failed to threaten. LIKA ROLLING STONE raced in the three path on the first turn, was urged along on the backstretch, dropped from the three path to the two path on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the three path then moved in and came up empty. LANDED stumbled badly at the start but broke with the body of the field, showed speed on the inside of a rival, moved from the inside to the two path while dropping off the pace on the first turn, prompted the leader on the outside, chased in the two then three path on the far turn, dropped back late on that bend, turned into the stretch in the four path and capitulated. HELLO BEAUTY went around the first turn in the four path, settled towards the back on the outside, was urged along while dropping from the three path to the inside on the far turn, moved back out late on that bend, spun into the stretch in the three path and failed to respond.
