LUMINOUS BEAUTY broke very alertly then sped clear, dictated terms in the two path through the turn, cruised into upper stretch under her own power, responded well when asked at the three-sixteenths pole, extended the advantage under a strong-hand ride into the final furlong, was given one light pop of a right-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole and powered away while put to a mild hand-ride late. MARGIE'S GIRL was urged along off the pace, angled in near the nine-sixteenths pole, dropped to the rail nearing the turn, saved ground going around that bend, was put to the crop in the two path at the quarter-pole and proved no match for the winner while just able to get the place. MEL WENT HOME sat back some at the start and was last away, settled off the pace while the only contestant not under urging, saved ground while put to light coaxing on the turn, was roused at the quarter-pole and finished willingly but missed the place while well clear for the show. MINDEE'S WORLD brushed the inside of the gate at the start then was hustled, chased the pace on the outside, went around the turn in the four then three path and weakened. DINNER PARTY chased the pace on the outside from second, went around the turn in the three to four path and tired. SAYSOMETHINGNICE was ridden along on the outside, dropped from the five path to the four path early on the turn, spun into the stretch in the five path and failed to threaten. SO ANGELINA brushed with a rival early, was ridden along on the outside, traveled around the turn in the three path and failed to respond. BIBLICAL JUSTICE brushed with an opponent early, moved in while urged at the rear, saved ground on the turn and was no factor.
