MEDICI ROAD was taken in hand when the pacesetter crossed in front then dropped just behind that foe, ranged up in the two path on the turn, made a bid at the five-sixteenths pole, dueled outside of the runner-up in the stretch and prevailed under good handling. FLORIDA PATRIOT moved in while going to the front, raced inside on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, dueled inside of the winner in the stretch, swapped back to her inside lead outside the sixteenth-pole, fought determinedly to the finish and missed while clear for the place. CLEARLY SOPHIA settled in the front half of the field, was roused in the three path on the turn, chased while remaining on her inside lead until inside the furlong marker then swapped to the proper lead and lacked the needed kick while able to earn the show. BOURBON MILK PUNCH broke out then was corrected some with a long left-rein, settled near the middle of the field, raced in the two path on the turn, was asked coming to the quarter-pole and also lacked the needed kick while able to get the last spot in the superfecta. IMMORTAL POET (GB) showed speed then was taken in hand and well placed just off the pace, saved ground on the turn, chased under a drive into the final furlong and weakened. DANCE CLASS was reserved off the pace, saved ground on the turn, was roused in the two path in upper stretch and lacked the needed response. MY DIVINE SPIRIT (GB) bobbled at the start, saved ground while reserved off the pace, moved to the two path at the quarter-pole then shifted further out and also lacked the needed response. I'M VERY SWEET settled off the pace, raced in the three path on the turn, was roused outside the quarter-pole, turned into the stretch in the four path and lacked the needed response. CHART THE COURSE was reserved under restraint, dropped back near the half-mile pole then moved out, went around the turn in the five then four path while moving closer but came up empty. MIEL ET CITRON was taken up in tight after the start, settled at the rear on the outside without cover, went around the turn in the three path and was no factor.
