Footnotes
ROJA broke on top and crossed to show the way from the two path, came under pressure to the outside and cut a swift pace patiently handled until set down near the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, edged away under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in and held well and clear to the finish. ITALIAN SOIREE chased three to four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn coming under encouragement at the five-sixteenths marker, closed in through the final furlong and just got the bob for the place honors on the line. SHOOT IT TRUE chased three to four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn, angled five wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick and just lost the nod on the wire for the place honors while clear for the show. LOVE CERVERE chased just off the inside coming under a ride nearing the quarter pole, tipped three to four wide into upper stretch and was off the heels of ITALIAN SOIREE and tipped out slightly nudging READY TO JAM to his outside then kicked on belatedly to the finish. IN OUR TIME stumbled at the start but only conceded about a length of ground to the front when settling into stride, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a ride with five-sixteenths to run, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and stayed on one paced to the wire. CREED'S GOLD hustled from the gate, chased three paths off the rail down the backstretch, tucked inside into the turn and came under urging with seven-sixteenths to go, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, offered up a bid but was outkicked. TIME TO DAZZLE got bumped at the start by GRATEFULLY and lost her lane conceding three to four lengths to the front before settling into stride, chased three paths off the rail until tucked inside into the turn, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and angled out six wide at that station, offered up mild late foot while making no impact. READY TO JAM three then two wide in pursuit, came under encouragement with five-sixteenths remaining, swung four wide at the head of the stretch, got nudged to the five path by LOVE CERVERE at the three-sixteenths marker and made no impact. GRATEFULLY stumbled at the start recovering inwards and then bobbled after the break and took over the lane of TIME TO DAZZLE, advanced soon after and prompted the leader from the outside three wide through swift splits, continued three wide into upper stretch, then weakened through to the end.
