Footnotes
NITROGEN established the front just after the start and showed the way under a light rating hold just off the inside until tucked inside briefly midway on the turn, tipped back to the two path down the backstretch settled into a comfortable rhythm through moderate splits, had the field get busy behind her while remaining just off the inside midway on the far turn, got given a notch and shook away with five-sixteenths to go, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and was roused three-sixteenths from home, drifted out despite a right handed crop seven to eight paths through to just inside the sixteenth pole while forging clear through to the finish, got corrected late and moved back in two paths with the outcome in no doubt. FULLY SUBSCRIBED broke on top, settled chasing along the inside through the first turn before tipping two to three paths off the rail down the backstretch, went just off the inside through the far turn and came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths pole, took the inside route at the quarter pole before floating to the two path straightened away, proved no match for the top one while keeping on to finish battling nostril to nostril in the late stages to the wire to share in the place and show honors on the line. BLESS THE BROKEN raced three then two wide through the first turn in closest aim of the leader, came under urging three furlongs out as the top one began to get away, tipped four wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the winner and kept on to come again mildly fighting head to head to the wire with the aforementioned foe and shared in the place and show honors at the end. REGALED grew detached at the tail of the field while chasing just off the inside, came under a ride with seven-sixteenths to go, angled out seven wide into upper stretch and weakened. CASSIAR two then three wide through the opening turn, chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the far turn under urging from the seven-sixteenths pole, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and tired. ALPINE PRINCESS broke out at the break and was corrected, chased along the inside and then just off the inside through the first turn, raced along the rail thereafter until tipped two to three wide into upper stretch and tired.
