BUTTAH was well placed down the backstretch, chased inside on the turn, gained to make a rail bid inside of the runner-up in upper stretch, battled inside that opponent into the final furlong, took the advantage outside the sixteenth-pole and prevailed under good handling. VILLAGE PERSON was hustled to the front, showed the way under urging, went around the turn in the two path, was challenged to the inside by the runner-up in upper stretch, battled outside that foe into the final furlong and was overtaken while just able to get the place. LOCAL KNOWLEDGE bumped with a rival at the start then jostled with a foe, chased the pace, went around the turn in the three path, pursued the top two in the stretch and finished willingly to just miss the place while clear for the show. YO BANANA BOY was hustled from the gate then urged along off the pace, traveled around the turn in the five then four path, was driven into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed response. SEA STRIKE brushed with MARY'S LAD early, settled well off the pace, was urged along in the two path on the turn, moved out in upper stretch, brushed with a rival outside the sixteenth-pole and improved without threatening. IMAGINE JOHN bumped with foes on both sides at the start, chased the pace on the outside, rounded the turn in the five path and tired. MARY'S LAD (IRE) broke out and bumped with a rival, brushed with an opponent early, was urged along near the back, moved from the three path to the two path early on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path then angled out and failed to threaten. CALDO CANDY bumped with rivals on both sides at the start then jostled with a foe early, was urged along off the pace, moved in near the nine-sixteenths pole, dropped from the two path to the inside late on the turn, came back off the rail in the stretch, brushed with an opponent outside the sixteenth-pole, came in and bumped BRAZENLY shortly thereafter and failed to respond. BRAZENLY bumped with an opponent at the start, lacked early speed then angled in at the rear, saved ground on the turn, was bumped by CALDO CANDY entering the final sixteenth then checked and failed to reach contention. BRIGHTLINE BULLET bumped with a rival at the start, chased the pace between horses, dropped back in the four then three path on the turn and capitulated. TRUST FUND was urged along between horses, dropped back in the six then five path on the turn and came up empty. STRATEGICOPERATION was ridden along well off the pace, raced in the three path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the four path then moved in and failed to respond. GUN RANGE stumbled very badly at the start, was urged along on the outside while well back in the field, went around the turn in the four path, turned into the stretch in the six path and was no factor.
