REEF RUNNER got bumped at the start by WORKS FOR ME, who broke out a step, chased along the inside just off the top pair, got set down angled three to four wide into upper stretch, offered up a good finish to close in latching on the top pair near the sixteenth marker, seized command forty yards from home and inched away to the end. AG BULLET bobbled just after the break, chased just off the inside in closest aim of the leader coming under encouragement spinning three wide into upper stretch, rallied and took narrow command a furlong from home shying very slightly at that station when JOHN THE BEER MAN came out very slightly to his inside, no contact was made, dug in under threat from flanking rivals and was caught with forty yards from the finish and fought on to the wire. JOHN THE BEER MAN hustled from the gate, cut the pace four then three paths off the hedge down the backstretch before tucking to the two path through the turn, got let out under growing threat spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, got headed for the front a furlong out and came out slightly at that station, battled on to the finish. TWENTY SIX BLACK coaxed from the start, chased three to four paths off the inside down the backstretch, briefly tucked to the two path at the three-eighths marker before tipping back out at the five-sixteenths in an angle culminating in swinging five to six wide at the top of the stretch, then offered up a mild kick. MY BOY PRINCE coaxed from the gate, chased four then three wide down the backstretch from mid pack, tucked to the two path through the turn, came under coaxing just outside the quarter pole before being roused angled four to five wide into upper stretch, then stayed on one paced to the end. LITIGATION got steadied two to three wide inside the five-eighths marker when WORKS FOR ME tucked inwards in front, chased three to four wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths pole, tipped five wide into upper stretch and offered up a belated bid. BOLD JOURNEY chased two to three wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths marker, spun three wide into upper stretch, offered up late foot to no avail. GOVERNOR SAM broke open the gate stall door with force prior to the start, chased along the inside coming under coaxing three furlongs out, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and offered no response. WORKS FOR ME broke out a step at the start bumping REEF RUNNER, chased three then two wide, got set down spinning three wide into upper stretch, made no impact. CLOCK TOWER coaxed from the gate, raced three wide in pursuit coming under urging near the quarter pole, tipped four wide for home and weakened in the stretch.
