SCOTTISH LASSIE set the early pace on the inside with mild pressure,shook clear on the turn while moving out to the two path, came three wide off the turn and was put to right handed crop urging leaving the three-sixteenths and responded at once and drew off smartly and then was geared down late to prove much the best. LIMES DON'T LIE was eager early on the inside behind the leaders under restraint, tracked the leaders from the rail on the turn, angled out leaving the turn four wide and finished willingly while no match to the winner but clearly second best. MIDTOWN LIGHTS was settled early while in the rear,tucked in to be two wide and eventually made way to the rail on the turn, had no rally while gaining the show award leaving the three-sixteenths then stayed on to best the rest. FILLY FREEDOM stalked the winner on the outside and was three to four wide on the turn, moved out in the lane but weakened. ROMAN GRACE prompted the winner two wide down the backstretch and then was two to three wide while not being able to keep up with that rival, came three to four wide off the turn but tired in the drive.
