PRINCIP chased three then four wide coming under a ride three furlongs out, angled seven wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive rallying to command near the sixteenth pole, then edged away to the finish to prevail. SHOOT THE NICKEL took the overland route seven to eight paths off the inside down the backstretch, then went six wide through the turn coming under encouragement at the three-eighths marker, tipped seven to eight wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command a furlong out, dug in under threat and was caught a sixteenth out, ran on to preserve the place honors clear of the rest. FORGIVING SPIRIT coaxed from the gate, chased five to six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn, went six wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. QUIET WISDOM coaxed from the start, chased along the inside and then just off the inside under urging from three furlongs out, went nine wide into upper stretch, passed tired rivals. MR SKYLIGHT chased along the inside under urging from the seven-sixteenths marker, angled four wide into upper stretch, offered up a bid, then flattened out in the final furlong. STEWIE coaxed from the start, raced five wide in aim of the front, advanced tucked three wide into the turn and took over the front just outside the three-eighths marker, tucked to the two path at that station, tipped three to four wide into upper stretch and came under threat to the outside, got caught just outside the eighth pole, then weakened through to the wire. GATSBY coaxed from the gate, vied inside a pair briefly before easing off to chase along the inside, tipped just off the inside through the turn, went six to seven wide into upper stretch and tired.
