NEIGH BABY dropped back after the start while void of speed, was hard ridden on the outside, moved in near the five-eighths pole, went around the turn in the two to three path, gained late on that bend, found room behind the vanguard into upper stretch, rallied through an opening to make a bid inside the furlong marker, took the lead outside the sixteenth-pole and held under strong urging. COMMITMENT FUND angled out while lacking early speed, moved in with about five furlongs to run, raced inside to the two path on the turn, gained late on that bend, spun into the stretch in the two path then dropped in searching for room, checked behind SPHERICAL when that foe came in at the three-sixteenths pole, was beaten to the open hole by the winner outside the furlong marker and blocked, found room outside the sixteenth-pole then rallied, closed to make a bid late but missed while clear for the place. SPHERICAL was hustled from the gate, moved up on the inside to dispute the pace, vied along the rail on the turn, spun into the stretch in the two path then dropped back closer to the rail, dropped back into the final sixteenth and weakened while able to get the show. PARTY ANIMAL was fractious in the gate, bobbled slightly at the start then was hustled, moved in then back out early, chased the leading duo on the outside, made a bid late on the backstretch, vied in the four path while hard ridden on the turn, dropped back into the final furlong and also weakened. SIDEARM was restless in the gate, angled out early, settled under some urging, was ridden along in the five path on the turn, moved closer late on that bend, chased outside in the drive and lacked the needed kick. HOLY SEVEN broke through the front of the gate prior to the start, was brought back around and deemed fit to run by the state veterinarian then reloaded, broke very alertly and went straight to the front, contested the pace on the outside, vied in the three path on the turn, dropped to the two path in upper stretch, led into the final furlong, was collared outside the sixteenth-pole and tired.
