ELNAJD established a forward position early, dropped from the three path to the two path early on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, was given his cue early on the far turn, made a bid approaching the five-sixteenths pole, took the lead into upper stretch, responded well in the final furlong and proved best under steady urging. FAVORABLE SCENARIO went around the first turn in the two path, was reserved off the pace, came under urging in the two then three path on the far turn, pursued the winner in the stretch and willingly earned the place. SARDIS was taken back early, saved ground on the first turn, settled at the rear, traveled around the far turn in the two path, angled out while put to a drive in upper stretch and gained with late energy to just miss the place while able to get the show. GOLDEN CHANNEL broke alertly from the outside post, moved in while going to the front, dropped from the two path to the inside early on the first turn, showed the way down the backstretch, raced inside on the far turn, was asked outside the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage into upper stretch, battled with the winner under a drive into the final furlong, dropped back into the final sixteenth then swapped back to his inside lead and weakened.
