Footnotes
BABY SASSICAIA moved out while ridden along, dropped well off the pace while moving back in, raced inside to the two path on that bend, angled to the five path while gaining outside the quarter-pole, rallied to the lead in upper stretch, shook clear while moving in some outside the furlong marker and proved best under steady urging. AH CA IRA was well placed in third under urging, moved closer late on the backstretch, drafted behind the leader while along the rail on the turn, waited passing the five-sixteenths pole, was asked coming to the quarter-pole then spun into the stretch in the two path, made a bid inside of several rivals at the three-sixteenths pole, chased the winner into the final furlong and was outfinished but kept on willingly for the place. CURLIN'S MAGIC was urged along well off the pace, went around most of the turn in the three to four path, shifted to the six path while gaining late on that bend, spun into the stretch in the seven path, chased outside into the final furlong, drifted out some around the sixteenth-pole and improved for the show. WHISTLER'S STYLE lacked early speed, raced well back on the outside, dropped from the four path to the two path on the turn and failed to threaten. MISS LAO bobbled at the start but broke towards the front, angled out leaving the chute, settled under some urging, gained while moving from the two path to the four path on the turn, made a bid between foes in upper stretch, dropped back while remaining on her inside lead into the final furlong and weakened. PLAY GOOD PAY GOOD showed speed and led early then lost the advantage inside the three-quarter pole, pressed on the outside, vied in the four then three path on the turn, dropped back in upper stretch and tired. DREAM ON CARA was carried out leaving the chute, angled in with six furlongs to run, moved from the rail to the three path on the turn, came into the stretch in the four path and was no factor. JACKIE THE JOKER moved up to get the lead inside the three-quarter pole, set the pace under pressure to her outside, vied along the rail on the turn, dropped back into upper stretch and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
