INTELLECT (FR) saved ground on the first turn, settled off the pace, was asked in the two path on the far turn, moved to the three path late on that bend, swung out to the six path into the stretch, rallied outside into the final furlong and finished fast but was too late while up for the place. LIFE AND TIMES was hustled from the gate, raced in the three path on the first turn, settled outside but with cover, made a bid near the three-eighths pole, vied in the three path on the far turn, was roused into the stretch, pursued the winner in the drive, drifted out under a left-handed crop and swapped back to his inside lead late and willingly earned the show. SHERLOCK'S JEWEL went around the first turn in the two path, was reserved off the pace, raced in the three path while roused on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and improved for the last spot in the superfecta.
