B YUTIFUL CARLY was off slow then taken in hand and spotted the front a few lengths, raced well back in the field under urging, dropped from the four path to the inside early on the turn, moved back to the three path late on that bend, gained in the five path into the stretch, drifted in around the three-sixteenths pole then was put to a left-handed crop, rallied into the final furlong, closed strongly to get the lead at the sixteenth-pole and drew clear late under good handling. D'MUEHL pressed the pace on the outside, turned up the pressure on the leader in the four then three path on the turn, dueled inside of IN THE QUEUE into the final furlong, disposed of that foe outside the sixteenth-pole but was overtaken by the winner and proved no match while well clear for the place. LADY AZUL bumped with a rival at the start then tossed his head and was taken up with the right rein, spotted the front a few lengths, was urged at the rear, went around the turn in the three path, came out to the seven path into upper stretch and improved to get the show. ANNOTATE was urged along towards the front, chased in the four then three path on the turn, dropped back in upper stretch and weakened. IN THE QUEUE broke out at the start, chased the pace on the outside, dropped from the five path to the four path early on the turn, made a bid outside the five-sixteenths pole, dueled outside of D'MUEHL into the final furlong and tired. ROSAPENNA bobbled very slightly after the start, was urged along towards the front, saved ground on the turn and came up empty. UPTOWN ROSIE went to the front, set the pace under pressure to her outside, vied in the two path for most of the turn then shifted to the rail, dropped back in upper stretch and capitulated. SECRET CONNECTION raced between horses on the backstretch, was urged along in the two path on the turn and failed to respond. CALL ME ROSIE broke awkwardly and a step slow, raced well off the pace, moved out while a bit green near the nine-sixteenths pole, drifted from the three path to the six path on the turn, floated into the nine path into the stretch and had nothing left. RANDI'S GIRL broke out and bumped with an opponent, was urged along well off the pace, dropped back leaving the backstretch, went around the turn in the three then four path, turned into upper stretch in the six path, had the rider lose his crop nearing the furlong marker and also failed to respond.
