MALIBU SMART tracked the pace along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, rallied to take command just inside the eighth pole, edged clear under a drive to prevail. TRADING STRATEGY settled tracking the leader in closest range just off the inside, advanced on that rival to take over the front three furlongs out, showed the way through the far turn and cut the corner roused into upper stretch, dug in under a drive under threat to the outside, got caught just inside the eighth pole and ran on to preserve the place honors on the wire. MIDNIGHT CONCERTO chased just off the inside and then along the inside from mid pack, came under urging tipped back to the two path with five-sixteenths to go, angled five wide into upper stretch and ran on to the finish. TRAIL OF GOLD broke a half a beat slow without incident, chased two to three wide at the tail of the field, came under encouragement with five-sixteenths to run, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and passed tired rivals to the end. KIAMBA (IRE) saved ground near the rear of the field, came under a ride with five-sixteenths remaining, spun three wide into upper stretch and made no late headway. PRETTY TAPIT chased two to three wide from just off the pace coming under urging with five-sixteenths to run, swung three wide for home and weakened. SCARLETT'S HALO three wide through the first turn, chased two to three wide under urging from the five-sixteenths pole, tipped four wide into upper stretch and tired. TRICKY KITTY coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand along the inside, got headed by TRADING STRATEGY three furlongs out, faded through the latter portion of the far and last turn, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch, faltered, and was eased home to the finish.
