TUNING IN three wide in closest aim of the leader early on, advanced to prompt that rival before widening away in tandem through the far turn coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung four to five wide into upper stretch, dug in dueling with BUBSTER through to the finish taking command a sixteenth from home, dug in gamely to prevail on the wire. BUBSTER bobbled at the break recovering outwards taking over the lane of IRISH GOODBYE, showed the way in hand just off the inside under some pressure only through the presence of TUNING IN to the outside, had that rival increase the pressure and tucked inside through the far turn and widened away from the rest as a pair, spun three wide into upper stretch, dug in knocking heads through the length of the stretch to the finish and was caught a sixteenth from home, then fought on to the wire. IRISH GOODBYE brushed the near side stall at the start and was bumped by IN FRONT RUNNER breaking inwards, then lost his lane to BUBSTER and was briefly taken in hand conceding five to six lengths to the front before everything was said and done, chased three to four wide coming under a ride three furlongs out, spun three wide into upper stretch and improved position to secure the show honors while never threatening the top pair. TERM PREMIUM got bumped at the start by BAKUTO, chased three to four wide under a ride from three furlongs out, tipped four to five wide into upper stretch and tired. BAKUTO veered out at the start bumping TERM PREMIUM before being corrected, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under urging from the seven-sixteenths marker, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. IN FRONT RUNNER broke in at the start bumping IRISH GOODBYE, chased three then two wide under encouragement from three furlongs out, spun just off the inside for home and tired.
