Footnotes
ANTIETAM came off the inside into the first turn, was rated in the two path, ranged up while let out on the far turn, made a bid outside the five-sixteenths pole, took the lead outside the quarter-pole, shook clear into the stretch, extended the advantage while put to a right-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole, continued under the crop until just outside the sixteenth-pole then was eased up late while much the best. MIRAGE brushed with a rival at the start, established a forward position early, dropped from the four path to the three path on the first turn, prompted the pace on the outside, was urged along late on the backstretch, vied in the three then two path on the far turn, lost touch with the winner into upper stretch and proved no match while able to get the place. YOU'RE LOOKIN GOOD went around the first turn in the three path, settled on the outside, was urged along passing the nine-sixteenths pole, dropped back in the three to four path on the turn, gained in the final furlong, swapped back to his inside lead at the sixteenth-pole and just got up for the show. WHITBY was hustled to the front, showed the way on the inside of a foe while inside to the two path, was asked on the far turn, lost the advantage outside the quarter-pole, came out in upper stretch and tired then just lost the show. MAGNUM'S MACROBRST was hustled from the gate, raced inside for most of the first turn then moved to the two path, settled at the rear, saved ground under urging on the far turn and failed to threaten. UNCLE BARRIE traveled around the first turn in the four path, settled on the outside, was urged along passing the five-eighths pole, dropped from the four path to the two path on the final turn and lacked the needed response. RESIDE came outward at the start, dropped from the four path to the inside early on the first turn, settled off the pace, moved closer late on the backstretch, shifted from the rail to the three path while roused on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and came up empty. FIRST PITCH broke out and brushed with a rival, went around the first turn in the five then four path, settled on the outside, chased in the four then five path on the far turn, dropped back in the six path into the stretch and faltered then was eased but walked off.
