BIG BROOKLYN bumped solidly with a foe at the start, dropped from the four path to the three path on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, made a bid leaving the backstretch, took a short lead in the two path on the far turn, dueled outside of MR R T into the final sixteenth, bested that foe at that juncture and held under strong urging. SFUMATO was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, angled in at the rear, was reserved in the two path, moved closer near the nine-sixteenths pole, tracked behind the leaders in the two path on the far turn, was roused in the three path into the stretch, chased the dueling leaders while outside into the final furlong, gained into the final sixteenth and missed while up for the place. MR R T bumped with a rival at the start, dropped from the three path to the inside while going to the front, showed the way down the backstretch, was asked under threat while inside on the far turn then was headed inside the three-eighths pole, dueled inside of the winner into the final sixteenth and was outfinished while clear for the show.
