Footnotes
SILVOLOGY saved ground while reserved off the pace, was roused on the final turn, came out to the three path into upper stretch, dropped in while rallying under a right-handed crop near the furlong marker, closed strongly between foes to make a bid coming to the sixteenth-pole and got up to prevail under good handling. VRONTI (GB) dropped in early, was rated in the two path, came under urging while shifting to the three path outside the quarter-pole, kept DON'T JINX IT inward turning into upper stretch, moved out inside the three-sixteenths pole then gained to make a bid, took a narrow advantage outside the sixteenth-pole but was overtaken while able to get the place. SNIPSNIPPITYSNIP broke out and hit the gate, saved ground in reserve towards the rear, was roused in the two path on the final turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, moved out around the sixteenth-pole and gained with good courage to narrowly get the show. NATIONAL ARCHIVE was rated on the inside, moved out while roused on the final turn, reached the four path late on that bend, chased outside in the stretch and lacked the needed kick then just missed the show. SOL D'ORO went around the first turn in the three path, stalked outside while in the two path around the other turns, took the lead passing the five-sixteenths pole, was roused outside the quarter-pole, came out some in upper stretch, led under a drive until outside the sixteenth-pole and was overtaken then missed the superfecta. DON'T JINX IT established a forward position early, stalked outside in the two path without cover, tucked in behind cover passing the wire for the first time, was rated inside from that juncture, drafted behind horses on the final turn, moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole, was kept in behind a foe into upper stretch then took the inside route, chased under a drive into the final furlong, was crowded and taken in hand while dropping back outside the furlong marker and weakened. SAILAWAY moved from the two path to the three path while keen under restraint on the first turn, was reserved while given cover, dropped to the inside early on the second turn, settled off the inside on the backstretch, was roused while shifting from the two path to the three path on the final turn, moved out under a drive in upper stretch and lacked the needed response. AGIA MARINA went to the front, showed the way on the inside, was asked under threat on the final turn, lost the advantage outside the quarter-pole and faded.
