ANCIENT WORLD prompted the pace on the inside, was eased back while saving ground midway through the turn, moved to the two path while asked late on that bend, gained to make a bid in the three path in upper stretch then took the lead, battled outside of the runner-up to the finish and held under confident handling. EPITAPH was hustled from the gate then bumped with a foe, raced just off the pace, gained to make a bid with a half-mile to run, vied in the three path on the turn, took the lead passing the five-sixteenths pole, was asked for his best in upper stretch, lost the advantage to the winner outside the furlong marker, fought on with that opponent in the final furlong but missed while clear for the place. SCHLOMO moved in while going to the front then showed the way, went around the turn in the two path, was headed at the five-sixteenths pole, dropped back under a drive in upper stretch and weakened but held the show. TAPWRITS TEMPER raced towards the front on the outside, chased in the four path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed kick. NANTZ was reserved under restraint, moved from the three path to the five path on the turn, was roused coming to the five-sixteenths pole and lacked the needed response. OTTO NIPOTI bumped with a foe at the start, was clipped from behind by THREE LITTLE BIRDS early, raced just off the pace, chased in the three path on the turn and weakened. LIBERTY RISING moved in towards the rear, raced well off the pace, went around the turn in the three then two path, came out in upper stretch and failed to threaten. CATCH A TIGER broke out at the start, angled in outside the five-eighths pole, was rated off the pace, dropped back leaving the backstretch, moved from the inside to the two path on the turn, was roused inside the three-eighths pole, had the rider lose her crop around the three-sixteenths pole and lacked the needed response. EXECUTIVE ORDER bumped with a rival after the start, steadied briefly off heels outside the five-eighths pole then dropped back, was urged towards the rear, went around most of the turn in the four path then dropped to the three path and faltered.
