Footnotes
GET A JOB broke out at the start, showed speed while inside on the first turn, contested the pace, vied inside under pressure on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the three path, responded well in the drive, drifted out in the final furlong and held under steady urging. HOURS IN A DAY was hustled from the gate, raced in the two path on the first turn, was well placed behind the leading duo, moved out while getting closer near the nine-sixteenths pole, gained under urging in the three path on the far turn, made a bid outside the five-sixteenths pole, turned into the stretch in the five path, fought on outside the winner to the finish but just missed while well clear for the place. AWESOME EMPIRE was restless in the gate, broke slow while still moving around some at the start, spotted the front a few lengths, dropped in to save ground on the first turn, settled well off the pace, was roused while in the two then three path on the far turn, dropped to the rail late on that bend and lacked the needed response while best of the rest. NEON BORDEAUX broke a step slow, dropped from the four path to the three path early on the first turn, settled at the rear, was urged along in the three to four path on the far turn, turned into the stretch in the seven path and failed to threaten. ROCK THE WEEKEND was restless in the gate, raced in the three path on the first turn, settled on the outside, was asked leaving the backstretch, chased in the four then five path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the six path and came up empty. RUNGIUS was hustled from the gate, showed speed while dropping from the four path to the three path on the first turn, contested the pace on the outside, was asked in the two path on the far turn, dropped back late on that bend and tired. AUTHENTIC GALLOP was taken in hand while saving ground on the first turn, raced off the pace under reserve, moved closer near the nine-sixteenths pole, was roused while inside to the three path on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the four path and came up empty.
