OKLAHOMA SMOKE was bumped in the hindquarters at the start, settled on the far outside, was roused in the four then five path on the turn, rallied outside into upper stretch, closed strongly to make a bid coming to the furlong marker, took the lead near the sixteenth-pole and held under strong urging. TUTHILLTOWN was urged along well off the pace, dropped from the two path to the inside on the turn, came out into upper stretch, moved further out around the furlong marker and closed fast but missed while up for the place. FAIRY GODMOTHER was the only contestant to not have an assistant starter in the stall at the start, had her head turned just before the break then was corrected by the rider with a tug of the left rein, came out and bumped the hindquarters of OKLAHOMA SMOKE at the start then moved out over heels while slow into stride, dropped in at the rear, saved ground on the turn, angled out outside the furlong marker and finished with good energy to garner the show. DANCINGWITHDESTINY pressed the pace on the outside of a duo, vied in the four path on the turn, took the lead in upper stretch, led until near the sixteenth-pole then was overtaken while able to get the last spot in the superfecta. SHE'S OUR TIZ moved in while urged along off the pace, went around the turn in the two path, swung out to the six path into the stretch and improved position. JULIET ON APPROACH broke in at the start, was urged along towards the back, moved from the rail to the three path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed kick. FIFI LA FUME moved in while towards the back, went around the turn in the three path, spun into the stretch in the five path, angled out around the three-sixteenths pole and failed to threaten. VERNON VALLEY settled off the pace, was roused in the two then three path on the turn, came into the stretch in the four path and lacked the needed response. TURRIGA showed speed then disputed the pace, vied in the three path on the turn, fought under a drive in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. MOONLIGHT READY hit the outside of the gate at the start, showed speed then contested the pace on the inside of two foes, vied inside on the turn, battled under a drive in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and also tired. HONEST REASON was guided in early then urged along on the outside, dropped in late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the two path, chased into upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and failed to respond. MISS JANE HATHAWAY was urged along off the pace, saved ground on the turn and came up empty.
