INSPEIGHTOFCHARLIE traded a brush at the start with KINGS DANCER, tracked the pace along the inside patiently handled until placed to light coaxing just outside the quarter pole, got set down angled five wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command just outside the eighth pole, edged clear inside that station, saw some of his margin cut into late while under no threat to victory. HONOREE raced along the inside through the first turn taking up the tail of the field, tipped two to three paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking to the two path through the far turn coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths remaining, angled out eight to nine wide into upper stretch, kicked on belatedly outside to secure the place honors. SIR OSCAR coaxed from the gate, settled just off the inside near he the rear of the field, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and angled out seven wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive running on through to the finish. CHARLES J saved ground in pursuit from mid pack, came under a ride with five-sixteenths to go, spun two to three wide into upper stretch and improved position to the wire. NAGUILE pulled a bit keen early on three then two wide through the first turn, went three paths off the rail into the backstretch, had PERFECTWORKS tip out inside five furlongs to go attempting to get to the three path and denied the move nudging that rival back to the two path, continued three wide through the far turn advancing to latch on the top pair through the latter portion of the turn, went six wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. THREE THIRTEEN broke out at the start filling some vacant space from INSPEIGHTOFCHARLIE and was corrected before making any contact with that rival, established the front and showed the way in hand along the inside patiently handled until set down taking the two path into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was caught just outside the eighth pole, then weakened through to the finish. ORTUS broke out a step at the start bumping ALZERO, prompted the pace of the aforementioned foe from the outside in the two path under urging from the five-sixteenths marker, swung four wide for home and weakened in the final furlong. PERFECTWORKS four then three wide through the first turn, settled tracking the front just off the inside into the backstretch, attempted to nudge NAGUILE out to get to the three path inside five furlongs to run and was denied the move by that rival, continued just off the inside through the far turn coaxed along from the five-sixteenths pole, angled six wide into upper stretch and tired. ALZERO got bumped at the start by ORTUS, raced three wide throughout until angled five then four wide into upper stretch, and came up empty. KINGS DANCER traded a brush at the start with INSPEIGHTOFCHARLIE, chased four then three wide under urging from the five-sixteenths pole, went eight to nine wide into upper stretch and tired.
