SAMARTINA (FR) was bumped hard at the start and forced out into another foe, dropped from the two path to the inside early on the first turn, settled in third position, was roused while inside on the far turn, moved to two path late on that bend, rallied in the three path into upper stretch, closed well to get the lead outside the eighth-pole, responded well in the final furlong and just held under strong urging. MAJESTIC MOONLIGHT raced inside to the two path on the first turn, settled off the pace, saved ground while roused on the far turn, gained in the two path into the stretch then moved out, chased under a drive into the final furlong, closed ground into the final sixteenth, moved in late and but just missed while narrowly able to get the place. DEVILISH GRIN bumped with foes on both sides at the start, rounded the first turn in the three path, settled near the back, was urged along in the three path on the far turn, angled out outside the furlong marker and closed fast to just miss while narrowly able to get the show. JUST TELL ANNE moved in early, went around the first turn in the two path, settled well off the pace, was urged along in the three then four path on the far turn, rallied into upper stretch, chased the leader to the finish and finished willingly but just missed the show. OUTRO broke out and bumped hard with SAMARTINA, traveled around the opening bend in the two path, bumped with SLICEAWAY near the eleven-sixteenths pole, was urged along in the two path on the final turn, gained into the stretch in the three path then moved further out, held a good striking position in the final furlong but flattened out and missed the superfecta. MAPPY was hustled from the gate, showed speed on the outside of SWEET MACKENZIE and drew off in tandem with that foe, raced in the three path on the first turn, moved clear late on that bend, opened up a sizable advantage on the backstretch, shortened stride in the two path on the far turn, lost the advantage outside the furlong marker and tired. SWEET MACKENZIE was sent hard from the gate, showed speed inside of MAPPY and drew off in unison with that opponent, raced inside on the first turn, followed the solo leader down the backstretch, chased inside on the far turn and capitulated. PAY THE BILLS (FR) raced inside on the first turn, was urged along on the backstretch, saved ground through the far turn and was no factor. RIYAH AL NIL was bumped at the start then taken up, went around the turns in the two to three path, spun into the stretch under the crop and failed to threaten. BESIDE YOU stumbled at the start then came outward while recovering before being corrected by the rider, went around both turns in the two path and failed to rally. PLAYING GAMES settled on the inside, was urged along on the far turn, moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole, sustained an injury to her left foreleg outside the sixteenth-pole and was eased late then transported off the course via equine ambulance. SLICEAWAY raced in the three path on the first turn, bumped with OUTRO near the eleven-sixteenths pole, settled outside without cover, was urged in the four path on the far turn and failed to respond.
