PRIME CONNECTION saved ground while rated off the pace, was asked in the two path at the quarter-pole, bumped with LOSE THE BLUES just after turning into the stretch, moved out around the three-sixteenths pole and just got up for the place. AMICABLE FARCE established a forward position from the gate, tugged keenly on the bit while outside of a foe into the first turn, raced in the two to three path on that bend, contested the pace on the outside while in hand, vied in the two path on the far turn, was asked at the quarter-pole, led under a drive into the final furlong then was headed by the winner and weakened then just lost the place while clear for the show. HEDGE BOOK angled in early, traveled around the first turn in the two path, settled off the pace, was asked while moving from the inside to the three path on the far turn, came into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed response. TIMELESS MELODY saved ground towards the back, was roused on the far turn and failed to threaten. MUSIC BOX went to the front, contested the pace on the inside while in hand, was asked at the quarter-pole, battled under a drive in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and tired.
