Footnotes
TWINKLE TOWN showed speed on the outside then set the pace, vied in the three to four path while outside of the runner-up through the turn, responded well when asked near the quarter-pole, fought outside the runner-up under a drive in upper stretch, shook off that foe into the final furlong and drew off under strong urging. BOOKED leaned in at the start and was off a bit slow, moved up between horses to contest the pace, raced inside the winner from the nine-sixteenths pole, vied in the two path on the turn, was roused outside the quarter-pole, battled with the winner under a drive in upper stretch and weakened while well clear for the place. HOW'S AL TODAY moved off the inside while urged along at the rear, moved closer in the three path on the turn, swung into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed response while best of the rest. RASASI was hustled from the gate, moved up to contest the early pace then dropped back a bit near the nine-sixteenths pole, chased inside on the turn and tired. UNCLE KEF brushed with FLIGHT COMMAND at the start, was well placed down the backstretch, chased in the four to five path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the six path and capitulated. FLIGHT COMMAND stumbled at the start then brushed with UNCLE KEF, was urged along on the outside, tucked into the four path entering the turn, moved to the five then six path later on that bend, spun into the stretch in the seven path, dropped in near the three-sixteenths pole and faltered.
