MUNNINGS EXPRESS coaxed from the gate, chased three paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked to the two path into the turn before being given a notch to work with and tucking to the rail near the three-eighths marker, advanced with a rush on the leader to seize command just inside that station, took the inside route roused into upper stretch, edged away under a drive to inside the eighth pole, saw some of that margin cut into while kept to task. LANDED led briefly early on and then pressed the pace of BAM'S BLISS KISS from the outside four then three wide coming under a ride with five-sixteenths to go, swung four wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. USHA chased three paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked to the inside half a mile from home, came under coaxing with five-sixteenths to go, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, tipped out to the two path straightened away and offered up a mild bid. IRON ORCHARD chased six then five paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking four wide through the turn coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths remaining, tipped five to six wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. WITH THE ANGELS chased five to six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then two to three wide through the turn coaxed along from the five-sixteenths marker, continued two to three wide into upper stretch and weakened. BAM'S BLISS KISS got lightly coaxed along in the two path establishing the front six furlongs out, showed the way under pressure to the outside from LANDED, had the eventual winner advanced strongly up the rail three furlongs out when remaining in the two path and was displaced from command just inside that station, then steadied briefly as that foe got out slightly when going by, got placed to urging with five-sixteenths to go, spun three wide in to upper stretch and tired. NAIVE MELODY veered out at the break and was corrected, chased seven paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking to the two path through the turn, angled four wide at the head of the stretch and trailed.
