Footnotes
CITY BLOCKS chased two to three paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three to four wide through the turn, got let out spinning four to five wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command a furlong out, drew clear to the finish to prevail. PLAY GOOD PAY GOOD dueled from the two path with SHORT SHIFT to his outside, remained patiently handled until roused continuing just off the inside into upper stretch, shook off her main pace rival confronted by the top one nearing the eighth pole and was caught at that station, proved no match late for that rival while keeping on clear for the place honors. SHORT SHIFT broke out at the start brushing OPEN SOUL AUTISM, dueled from the three path with the aforementioned foe to her inside, got set down swing three wide for home, weakened in the late stages while clear for the show honors. OPEN SOUL AUTISM got brushed at the start by SHORT SHIFT, chased along the inside down the backstretch and then two to three wide through the turn under urging from three furlongs out, angled six wide into upper stretch and weakened. JACKIE THE JOKER broke out at the start under hustling, chased along the inside under a ride from the five-sixteenths pole, spun three wide for home and tired. IRISH JACKSON chased four then three wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths marker, went four wide into upper stretch, made no impact. JACKSON'S DIXIE got briefly steadied at the break when SHEZANARCTICQUEEN broke inwards, chased five to six paths off the inside down the backstretch, got taken hold of and put to a protective hold with something amiss and got guided out through the far turn, was eased up and then pulled up in the vicinity of the quarter pole, got attended to on track and vetted and was subsequently transported off the course via an equine ambulance. SHEZANARCTICQUEEN broke in at the start forcing JACKSON'S DIXIE to take brief hold, raced forwardly placed four paths off the rail down the backstretch, lost action near the half mile pole and was immediately placed to a protective hold and taken outside into the turn, got eased up before being pulled up just inside the five-sixteenths marker, then got attended to and vetted on track and was subsequently transported off the track via the equine ambulance.
