UNTIL LAST CALL showed speed and set the pace, went around most of the turn in the two path then dropped to the inside, turned into upper stretch on even terms for the lead, dueled with the runner-up to the finish and gamely prevailed then pulled up in severe heat distress following the race while eventually walked off the track. SIR WALTA was hustled from the gate, stalked the pace on the outside, engaged the winner in the three path on the turn, dueled with that foe in the stretch and missed while clear for the place then also pulled up in heat-distress while eventually walked off the track. HIGH LEVERAGE was reserved off the pace, saved ground on the turn, moved to the two path coming to the quarter-pole, was put to a drive in upper stretch, chased the top two to the finish and earned the show. EYE ON THE BALL bumped with a rival while last to commence, was urged along near the middle of the field, rounded the turn in the four path, chased in the stretch and lacked the needed kick. TWENTY ONE RED was urged early then settled off the pace, raced in hand between horses late on the backstretch, moved from the two path to the four path on the turn, approached the quarter-pole behind foes, was asked for his best in upper stretch and also lacked the needed kick. CHARLIE MY BOY was well placed just off the pace, saved ground while roused on the turn, moved to the two path while chasing in upper stretch and lacked the needed response. PILOT KNOB bumped with a rival while breaking near the rear, was urged along at the back, went around the turn in the three then four path, came into the stretch in the six path and failed to menace. MYKONOS settled towards the rear, moved from the three path to the five path on the turn and failed to threaten. TIZLAWRY was hustled from the gate, moved in while urged along off the pace, traveled around most of the turn in the two path then shifted to three path and capitulated.
